There’s not many guys out there like Cleveland’s mercurial two, & NBA CHAMP, J.R. Smith; an iso guard who can catch FIRE from downtown, J.R. goes into full-blown Swish Mode if his first couple shots fall; king of the contested jumper – fallaway threes, step backs, heat-check bombs – J.R. makes the most ridiculous looks seem like a walk in the park; underrated rim driver – ft. an underrated spin-layup; practically unstoppable when hot, ice cold when he misses a few in a row; Smith used to look for his offense first, second and third but has (somewhat) bought into playing a team brand of ball in Cleveland; helped carry the Cavs during a dormant 3rd quarter (poured in 8 points, including back to back treys) in Game 7 of the 2016 Finals – his career defining moment?; a ticking bomb, J.R.’s fuse can detonate and erupt into instant offense in ANY situation
