Justise Winslow: a powerfully athletic playmaker; fundamental defender* – places the correct hand in passing lanes, doesn’t normally bite on pump fakes, gets into a low stance when defending post-ups, doesn't easily give up ground v. bigger opponents; to complement his defense, Justise is best described as a strong-bodied lefty who makes a difference as a slasher, playmaker & transition finisher; underrated shot creator, gets to ideal spots before finding teammates; improved from deep (38% in ‘18-’19), particularly when spotting up; needs to continue adding counters off the dribble (in-between) to further round out attack; very good rebounder, likes to finish off possessions; comfortable handling & making plays as an initiator; traded to Trail Blazers (2022) – Winslow’s a versatile defender/playmaker when healthy
