One of the hardest-working two-way players in the Association, Wesley Matthews seems to add something new every single year; earned a reputation as a lockdown defender early on – at 6’4, Wes is a bit undersized but he gets into a low stance & has a strong upper body*; good shooter from distance: Wes lights it up from beyond the arc w/ a flurry of arrows: quick draws, long wind-ups, a deadly shot after taking a step back – gets hot from outside (when Wes is locked in, he goes full Oliver Queen); can play outta the post, features a nice turnaround J; signed w/ Hawks (2023) – Wes is provides another veteran presence to Coach Snyder’s lineup
