A tremendous athlete at point, Mac McClung’s a skilled scoring guard; bouncy PG, channels athleticism in practically every aspect of his approach; leaps well on jumpers, can create great space w/ dribble moves and step backs; slick finisher near the rim, can convert scoop shots & hanging layups around challenging defenders; pretty good set up man (keeps his head up on the run), must further develop PG skills for better staying power; very fast in open space, rises up quick on dunks; hi-flyer: highlight reel waiting to happen if afforded a consistent source of minutes in the leagues (signature slam: double clutch reverse); ready to play a role in the league? McClung’s on a 2way deal (won G League Rookie of the Year in 2022 & a G League title in 2023), could create momentum as a bench scorer heading into 2023
