‘Cardiac Kemba’ – a tough-minded, NYC PG w/ the clutch gene; Kemba’s no stranger to the clock, the pressure…he blocks it all out before unleashing daggers in crunch time; since his days at UConn, Walker’s always had a deadly offensive skill set – strikes quick: normally gets clean looks after creating separation using killer crossovers, able to blow right by for uncontested shots; will detonate if a couple early looks go down – doesn’t take much to light Kemba’s flame, can carry his team to victories riding relentless dribble penetration and nasty, space-creating step backs; learning how to get to the FT line more often (probing better after screens, draws contact when speeding down the lane) & distribute w/ better efficiency; shot selection can be an issue, though more a product of his level of responsibility; winning mentality, very coachable; 4x All-Star – Kemba’s confidence is infectious; signed w/ hometown Mavs – seasoned scorer & playmaker for Coach Kidd: is playoff success on the horizon?
