(Future Hall of Famer) Dwight Howard is “getting up there” in age but is a game-changer when healthy; doesn’t overwhelm as much w/ his back to the basket anymore but still makes a tremendous difference as a presence in the middle & on the boards; does well exploiting smaller, second unit bigs: Dwight primarily scores off rim dives, oops & roll catches; sets up shop early in the offense, gets easy looks via dump offs & rolls; will to win has always been debated, though Dwight's childlike joy is often misconstrued; no longer a shutdown defender, though remains a pretty solid rim protector; one of the most automatic “double-double” threats of his generation (in his prime); back w/ Lakers for his 3rd stint! – Dwight played a strong role on LA’s title team in 2020,* is looking for similar success in 2022
