A former second rounder outta Iowa State, Georges Niang brings his ‘old man game’ to Utah; multi-faceted forward: rebounds, makes plays, can methodically get to the rim; very good outside J, has worked to build consistency – shot 40% in 2020: solid accuracy on the move, able to hit despite a contest; decent play initiator  – Niang can find teammates (sometimes it’ll look pretty, sometimes it won’t) – patient, deceptive w/ fakes, takes his time before deciding his next move; overlooked in the past – Niang has found consistency as a second unit scorer/floor spacer; Salty DOG*: Niang spends time at the 4 & 5, stretches the floor & provides intangibles
