HYBRID

NBA ROLE: (STAR) ALL-AROUND PLAYMAKER

Your first mistake is telling Draymond Green he can’t do something – not only will he get it done, he’ll make it look easy in the process; a near triple-double threat every night, Green is an unreal passer & playmaker; makes excellent PnR reads: hits cutters, lob threats & shooters, quarterbacks the defense in half court and transition: always looks to advance the ball down the court; frequently pushes the break, will take it coast to coast if undeterred; one of the most adaptable defenders in the league: 3x 1st-Team All-Defense – holds his own against elite low post players, switches out on the perimeter and keeps his matchup under wraps despite athletic disadvantages on a nightly basis (nbd); not a natural scorer between the lines or around the rim (won’t hesitate to make the extra pass), needs to get back to confidently rising for elbow/corner triples; proven winner (4x!! champ) w/ a huge personality: heart and soul of the Dubs – Dray’s emotions are a roller-coaster ride but when controlled? – he’s a great motivator (probably the best); won 4th NBA title in 2022, re-upped for three more years in 2023 – Draymond & the OG core of Steph, Klay, & Coach Kerr are looking to extend the dynasty for years to come
