Will Magnay: inside-out, scoring pivot outta Australia; good pop back shooter, likes to fire from straightaway - floor spacing is a quick ticket to PT under Stan Van Gundy; solid athlete, can run the floor - Magnay’s shown some ability driving & scoring from the 3-pt. line if a defender closes, can get by slower bigs for scores; very good rebounder, looks to secure possessions - tries to make a nightly difference on the glass; should find a niche as a shot-blocker in the league - efficient rim protector?; needs to work on game w/ back to the rim & establish go-to shots facing up; excellent development in NBL over past couple seasons - on 2Way deal w/ Pelicans, Magnay will continue to develop til SVG’s ready for him to join the rotation
