NBA ROLE: VERSATILE, PLAYMAKING WING

A flashy, mismatch combo guard, Tyreke Evans is extremely tough to lock up with the ball in his hands; every slick dribbling move you can think of, Evans can pull off w/ his eyes closed: side-steps, killer, back and forth crossovers, in & out hezzies, spins – he freezes you w/ a move, then bullies his way to the basket; when healthy, Reke gets to the hole at will – when he’s nursing some sort of injury, you see a lot of difficult jumpers, which isn’t always his strong suit; creative passer (double-taps B whenever possible) & playmaker, though doesn’t always have full control over possessions; much improved set shooter – shot 40%! in '17-'18; the right system and situation often tells the story of how Evans will function – a player who desperately needs the ball in his hands, Tyreke is a special talent when harnessed correctly; go-to playmaker/6th man w/ Pacers?
