The 8th overall pick in 2015, Stanley Johnson plays defense w/ an edge; consistently creates a spot for himself in the rotation – Johnson provides good minutes off the bench, excels at bully-ball, uses strong frame to body up on defense and charge to the basket; good athlete w/ nice skill, will and anticipation on the defensive end: Stan’s willing to work, looks for tough assignments; long distance shooting & shot creation has improved with time: Stan has great instincts on the floor, has learned to become a more efficient overall scorer; young vet on the rebuilding Jazz: Johnson seems to be in the right situation to expand his game – another evolution coming under Coach Will Hardy?
