Florida State’s Okaro White fits the bill as an athletic forward; White began his pro career in Greece – after a couple impressive stints in the D-League, Okaro’s now searching for long-term real estate in the league; nice defensive framework – solid foot speed, raw ability to match up v. multiple positions, help & recover; improving offensive talent, likes to set up from downtown (quick release, confident spotting up from corners & elbows) & find easy buckets around the rim; body type is suitable for today’s game (slender, athletic) but adding 10-12 lbs could help him better defend larger 3s & 4s; bounced around a bit since entering the league – future role player in Washington?
