Josh Jackson has a strong defensive framework - “blitzing” approach; likes to frustrate his matchup - good shot-blocker, can check 1s-4s; explosive athlete, will boom on anyone if afforded a couple (solid) gather steps, slashes & makes plays near the rim; confident OTD, developing handle - Jackson's step back is promising, likes to convert runners/shots w/o getting deep in the lane; not a natural shooter (low gather point, slight hitch), must cash open spot-ups; needs to improve focus off-ball, both defensively & when not acting as a primary option offensively; took huge step forward under Dwane Casey - JJ's development is worth monitoring
