JEREMY LIN (TOR)
#7•J. LIN
PG • 6’2, 200 lbs; 10th year, Harvard
SALTY DOG
NBA ROLE: (CREATIVE) SCORING POINT
A former league-wide sensation, Jeremy Lin broke onto the scene w/ NY during the ’11-’12 season and never looked back; fast forward to now: Jeremy’s ‘Linsane’ games aren’t as frequent but he’s created an identity as an ‘attack-mode’ PG; if you sag off, Lin will knock down threes from the top of the key, utilizing his improved shot base (more consistent elbow mechanics, steadier motion); if you play too closely, Lin will find a rolling teammate or drive hard & score; patient, probing guard – Lin’s settled down, has learned when, where & how to get good shots; not much of a defender, to put it nicely; can shoot a bit too much; Jeremy has a ‘Linsanity’ flashback (scores in bunches) only every now and again but there’s no doubting he's one of the league’s most dependable PGs; won 1st title w/ Raptors! – Star UnderDOG talent in an UnderDOG role
