NBA ROLE: (RAW) ATHLETIC, SCORING TWO-GUARD

 

Former JuCo star Jay Scrubb: high-octane athlete w/ “second-nature” scoring ability; lefty guard w/ a nice handle: Scrubb has no trouble creating shots on his own, is tough to sit on driving the lane & rising for pull-ups; outside shooting could create playing time in the near future - Scrubb needs to key in on open spot-up chances while also showcasing what he can do if action breaks down; solid defender in the league? - needs to add some muscle, athletic makeup should aid future success; play initiator at some point? more experience w/ primary PnR responsibilities would expand his game; tore it up w/ Lakeland Magic in 2023 - Scrubb should grow tremendously through G League experience as he targets long-term real estate in Boston
