NBA ROLE: TWO-WAY BIG

Drafted 45th outta Nebraska, Isaiah Roby has found a role as a scorer, defender & rebounder in the league; crafty show & go moves - able to hit soft floaters/hooks w/ either hand; plays under control, doesn’t rush looks at the rim; good lateral movement, nice anticipation for steals & help side blocks; needs to improve ball-handling; solid athlete w/ a decent dunk zone; makings of a do-it-all role player - looks for teammates, very unselfish; plays a lot of small ball 5, Roby’s active around the glass though (obviously) sacrifices size in most matchups; three-point accuracy + volume saw a huge jump in ‘21-’22, more opportunity otw; slept on, developing on the fly: Roby could grow into a key component of New York’s lineup
