NBA ROLE: VERSATILE, STRETCH 4/5/PLAYMAKER

Former USC Trojans star Isaiah Mobley is reunited w/ his younger brother, Evan*, in the Land; NBA niche as an all-around 4/5 who can space the floor, rebound and make plays; likes to take advantage of mismatches in the lane, has a soft touch on floaters and simple hooks; very good passer who looks for the extra feed (particularly to bigs), likes to post and quickly dish to open shooters; pretty solid outside shot (nice, high release): Mobley’s comfortable from both elbows & straightaway but remains a work in progress in terms of volume, as well as finishing through contact & scoring on the move; smart defender though not the most dynamic athlete, Isaiah’s positive production should come via strong post defense (after putting on more weight) and rebounding; can handle and push the ball in a pinch: playmaking should open up w/ more confidence as a scorer and shooter; on 2Way deal: Mobley starred on CLE’s G League & Summer League teams for two sesaons, has a nice shot to earn a full-time gig on the “big club” in 2025
