Furkan Korkmaz: a 6’7 sniper/outside scorer outta Turkey; very good size on the wing: swan J, strikes fast from long range - can hit spot ups & coming hard off screens; factors in Philly’s mold of nice-sized athletes w/ (some) versatility - holding own on D will lead to more minutes (and thusly), more chances from deep; can finish hard at the basket if given enough driving room; possesses ability to handle in space, can rise into triples off his own doing; not much of a playmaker, must get better at making the extra pass; undervalued floor spacer, Korkmaz has a chance to play a larger role in Nick Nurses’s system heading into the 2023-24 campaign
