SMU’s Feron Hunt: talented slasher, makes his squad proud on the defensive end - fights hard, gets a lot of blocks at the forward spot, especially on jumpers; always in passing lanes - racks up deflections and takeaways; athletic + fast, can really get to the hole off the dribble despite a slight build; great rebounder at his position, pursues misses; shot a pretty decent percentage (36%) from downtown on low volume in the G League in ‘21-’22(quick release, shoots from way behind the line) - defensive upside could favor him in Coach Thibs’s rotation; takes advantages of chances to score, plays an efficient brand of ball; needs minutes running/playing with Obi Toppin; ideal role player* at some point?
