David Johnson: 6’5 G drafted in the second round (outta Louisville) in 2021; played a lot w/ Raps’ G League affiliate, Raptors 905 as a rook - usually a great feeder system for future impact players for Coach Nick Nurse; quick release on the three ball (shoots at the top of his jump); brings energy on the defense end, often breaks up plays w/ deflections; usually looking to get his jumper going, should drive hard to the rim (decent finisher) and shoot more OTD; staying power w/ Raps? if Johnson’s J gets to a pretty respectable level, he’s got a chance for a long-term spot
