Cassius Winston: decorated All-American at State* w/ excellent leadership qualities; strong-willed playmaker able to make difficult passes both in half court & transition - beneficial for any second unit looking to push the tempo; impressive scorer: very quick, leverages body well to create space, can stop on the dime & hit Js off step backs & other breakdowns; nice float game, invites contact if met by a defender, can finish despite size disadvantages scoring efficiency & three-point volume is worth monitoring early on; lack of size caps defensive upside, though Winston digs deep, has excellent hands & doesn’t give ground without a fight; crowded PG rotation in Washington - Winston will bide time & improve before carving out a long-term role
