Bismack Biyombo is a tireless worker on defense and has a mean streak on the glass; usually matches no. of points w/ board total: active offensive rebounder – super strong upper body, anticipates misses well even when he doesn’t have prime position in the lane; basic offensive tools: Biz’s hook game is eh but def. a more solid weapon when there’s room in the paint; very good defender, switches well, doesn’t easily get beat off the dribble; poor FT shooter; runs the floor about as well as any big in the league – changes ends quickly, can beat his man for easy leak-out dunks; adds great boost to Monty Williams’s second unit – Biz plays the role of interior defender/rim protector, comes in and makes a difference w/ his energy
