An athletic, utility forward outta Kentucky, Alex Poythress seems to have finally settled in as a pro; spent last couple seasons discovering NBA role, working on all-around skills; improved shooter + scorer - Poythress is able to convert a variety of jumpers, uses his frame well to finish off looks in the lane; goes up hard near the rim, attempts to stuff if afforded the right step/hop; needs to improve focus & intensity on defense - valuing intangibles will lead to more PT in different types of lineups; on 2nd 2Way deal* - can Poythress make a home in ATL?
