Toronto’s AJ Lawson: (ridiculously) high-riser/transition finisher - began career w/ Minnesota, has mainly stood out as a key scorer in the G; great 1st step: Lawson darts to the basket in a couple of instances after getting a shoulder past his man (good finisher w/ his off-hand); effortless dunker when there’s a path to the lane; relentless scoring prospect, but should hone in on a his (already intriguing) defensive base to attract Coach Kidd’s attention; decent spot shooter, doesn’t get too much lift on his J, but shoots w/ confidence; on a 2Way deal, Lawson’s standout athleticism could eventually earn him an extended look in Dallas
