Circle back on Amari Bailey in the near future: he’s a second round steal if all goes right; athletic, lefty hooper (from Chicago) who likes to slash, create and score in the lane; 6’5 combo guard (currently favors the 2) w/ a very deft finishing touch in close - angles himself well going downhill, looks to get all the way in and finish (good hangtime in the air); cultivated promising pull-up attack in the G League as a rook: Amari has a decent base and very nice control as a ball-handler - must fully trust his jumper* from between the lines, and downtown, before making a stronger impact in the league; must embrace the idea of playing defense: Bailey could make a name as a pressure, sequence defender; young, overlooked prospect with a ton of talent: though Amari would have been drafted higher had he stayed in school longer, his trajectory remains high

*better efficiency on catch & shoot triples is important when playing next to LaMelo
